Word - Structuring Text
Main Office (LIC)|SRP (Bronx)|Fortune Academy (Harlem)
Description
When plain paragraphs are not enough, Word offers several ways to make information easier to scan, compare, and understand. Learn why tab stops create cleaner alignment than a row of spaces, then build a resume-style layout using custom tabs and dot leaders. From there, you’ll create bulleted and numbered lists, adjust their levels, and fix numbering that starts or continues in the wrong place. Tables provide even more control for information that belongs in consistent rows and columns. You’ll practice building and navigating a table, adding or removing rows and columns, merging and splitting cells, adjusting sizes, and aligning the content inside. Each step adds a little more structure without requiring a complicated page design.
