Word - Objects & Images

Main Office (LIC)|SRP (Bronx)|Fortune Academy (Harlem)

Description

Want to add pictures and visual details without sending the rest of your document into chaos? This class shows how symbols, images, shapes, icons, and text boxes behave once they enter a Word document. You’ll insert and crop an image, explore different ways to wrap text around it, and learn when an object should move with a paragraph or float freely on the page. Shapes and icons add flexible visual elements that can be resized, recolored, styled, and combined with text. We’ll also work with object layers, positioning, and order so overlapping items appear where you expect them to. Lastly, we'll discuss how alt text introduces a simple way to make electronic documents more accessible to readers who use screen readers.
