Understanding File Management
Main Office (LIC)|SRP (Bronx)|Fortune Academy (Harlem)
Description
Tired of downloading or saving a file and then wondering where it went? Join us for a practical introduction to files, folders, drives, and file management in the Windows File Explorer. You’ll learn how to move through common storage locations, change folder views, sort and search for information, and create, copy, move, rename, delete, and restore files and folders safely. We’ll also clear up the differences between original files, copies, and shortcuts, and explore how file types and extensions affect what you can open, edit, share, or print. Soon, answering “Where is my file, what type is it, and what can I do with it?” will feel much less mysterious.
