Description

A guest presentation introducing participants to AI options outside mainstream commercial platforms, including open-source and locally run models. The session will explore how different choices can affect privacy, control, access, cost, convenience, and user agency, while highlighting the tradeoffs involved in moving away from centralized commercial tools. Taught by CUNY student collective Offline Base
